Matched with a magical tour on a glass-bottom boat, exploring Cathedral Cove, sea caves and a rich underwater marine life. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Coromandel Town
Today you will arrive into Coromandel Town and make your way to the Anchor Lodge where you will be staying for the next 2 nights. The Anchor Lodge Motel is conveniently located just 400 metres from the Coromandel town centre. You will enjoy being situated only minutes away from many of the unique Coromandel attractions, bars and restaurants. Check-in time is 2pm.
Today you are free to explore Coromandel Town and surrounds. You will also enjoy a journey aboard the Driving Creek Railway. The 1 hour return trip on our innovatively designed trains takes you through replanted native kauri forest and includes 2 spirals, 3 short tunnels, 5 reversing points and several large viaducts as it climbs up to the mountain-top terminus. Called the Eyefull Tower, this handsome new building offers great panoramic views out over the island-studded Hauraki Gulf with the forested valley and mountains behind.
Today, after checking out of your accommodation, you will head to Whitianga where you will take a trip on the Glass Bottom Boat. You'll enjoy the fascinating coastal scenery and marine wildlife on board this unique 2 hour Eco Adventure. Highlights include the world famous Cathedral Cove, stunning caves, glass bottom viewing of amazing fish life and sensational snorkeling (equipment supplied). Daily trips year round departing from Whitianga wharf at 10.30am & 1pm (Also 8am & 3.30 pm in summer). Snorkelling is included in the Glass Bottom Boat tour. There is about 20 min of the tour set aside for those who would like to snorkel. The people who wish not to snorkel stay on board and they can watch the marine life through the glass. We will supply all equipment for the snorkelers free of charge. Once you have finished exploring for the day you'll head to your accommodation at ASURE Puanui Pines Motor Lodge where you will stay for the next 2 nights. Overlooking Mount Pauanui, this relaxed motel is a 4-minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Pauanui Shopping Centre, a kilometre from a beach and 6 km from Lakes Resort Pauanui's 18-hole golf course. Check-n time is 2pm.
Today you are free to explore the Pauanui area. Have a beach day exploring Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove or Pauanui Beach. Go swimming and enjoy the sun and great weather! Tairua Dive and Fishing offer a range of activities for the family including scuba diving, kayak hire, and fishing to check out for the day. Or take a walk with the family up to Paku Mountain to enjoy views of Pauanui Harbour and the Coromandel.
This morning you will check-out of your accommodation by 10am. Tour ends.
