As the train winds through the breathtaking Blue Mountains, explore the comforts of life onbaord, get acquainted with your cabin and fellow travellers. After settling in, savour your first meal - a regionally-inspired dinner paired with all-inclusive fine wines and beverages. After dinner, join fellow guests for a late night drink or head back to your cabin for your first night onboard.
You arrive in the 'Silver City'of Broken Hill as the day begins, where you embark on a morning of experience to discover the mining history and artistic culture of this unique town where the streets are wide and there's a pub on every corner. Lunch is served onboard as the Indian PAcific enters the southern tip of the spectacular and ancient Flinders Range. Arriving in the city of Adelaide in the afternoon, you have the choice of a tour of the city, a visit to the world famous Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale wine regions (seasonal). or a trip to the beautiful Adelaide Hills Featuring the culinary delights of Hahndorf Winery.

As the Indian Pacific readies to depart, anticipation builds for the days ahead - crossing from ocean to ocean and along the world's longest stretch of straight railway track. Spend a relaxed afternoon getting to know your fellow travellers after you board the Indian Pacific and pull away from Perth, leaving the Indian Ocean behind and cruising toward the Pacific. Tonight a delectable dinner is served on board, featuring contemporary Australian cuisine with seasonal and regional flavours.
Awake to see the sunrise unfold across Australia's largest outback town, Kalgoorlie. This morning, we'll delve into this mining town's fascinating past and present, with a visit to the region's gold-rush era, nopw modern-day, Super Pit mine. Decide how you want to explore Kalgoorlie on your choice of Off Train Experience, including morning refreshments. Reboarding the train mid-morning for brunch, spedn the afternoon at leisure on board. Relax with fine hospitality as the endless sweep of the Nullarbor passes by. Crossing borders and time-zones, you'll arrive late evening in the near ghost town of Cook, South Australia. Once bustling, today only a handful of residents remain, yet its stories endure. Step into this outback outppost to explore the ghost-like town, and as evening falls look skyward. Here, under a conpy of stars unspoiled by light, you'll join a guided stargazing experience to spot the Southern Cross and other constellations that shine bright with dazzling clarity. Later, return to the train for a regionally inspire dinner and the gentle rythm of the rails as you continue eastward.
Spend the morning travelling through the pastoral heart of South Australia, with sweeping views of the Flinders Ranges, Spencer Gulf and the Adelaide Plains unfolding beyond your window. A leisurely breakfast and lunch are served on board, inviting you to savour the relaxed rythm of train travel. in the afternoon, disembark at Long Plains and transfer by comfortable coach to the world-renowned Barossa Valley. HEre, at the historic Seppeltsfield Estate, an evening of fine wine and dining awaits. Overnight the Indian PAcific crosses another border, arriving in Broken Hill, NEw South Wales - the famed Silver City. After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore this legendary outback town. Choose your own adventure: visit the Miner's Memorial and Suphide Street Railway and Historical Museum for a fascinating look at the regions minining heritage, or venture underground on a Daydream Mine tour for an authentic glimpse into the life of early miners. Art lovers can head to the Pro Hart Gallery for a 'paint and sip' session in the artisit's original studio, while foodies will enjoy a native ingredients mastercalss with Chef Lee Cecchin, followed by a cook-off at The Old Salt Bush restaurant. YOur final day begins in the majestic Blue Mountains where soaring sandstone cliffs and eucalpyt valleys create a World Heritage listed landscape unlike any other. After breakfast, farewell the Indian PAcific and step into this extraordinary bushland for your Off Train Experience. At Scenic World, choose from four iconic adventures; glide above ravines on the Scnic Skyway, descend into the forest aboard the Scenic Cableway, or die the world's steepest passenger railway. Alternatively, stretch your legs on a guided walk to soak up the views, or savour a decadent high tea at the historic Hydro Majestic Hotel, famed for sweeping mountain panoramas. The Blue Mountains is known for its soaring sandstone ridges wrapped in native flora. This World Heritage-listed area marks your final stop before arriving in Sydney. Say goodbye to the Indian Pacific after breakfast, to travel deep into the mountains for this afternoon's off train experience. Scenic World includes four phenomenal mountain experiences, from the Scenic Skyway, which takes you over ancient ravines, with 360-degree vistas to the Scenic Cableway that glides over the forest to the valley floor and the Scanic Railway, the steepest passenger railway in the world. Alternatively, stretch your legs on a guided walk with spectacular views from numerous lookouts along the trail. Both experiences end at Echo Point Lookout, perched on the edge of the escarpement in Katoomba, where a light lunch is served.
